Buffalo in Snow

The 24x36x1.5 bison were originally referenced in NC at Beulah Bison Farm. We were allowed to go into the pasture, but had to jump the fence as they approached. We sat on the fence and fed them apples. They are lovely and wild and iconic to  historic Americana.

This bison has now been updated in oils and a solvent technique to create the snowflakes.

It is ready to hang in your home or office for a regal presence.

*This painting includes my signature hidden butterfly - a quiet detail found in my newer oil works. Each butterfly is unique and placed with intention, becoming part of the landscape itself.
