English Countryside Morning

The summer project for our local Art Guild was to paint a scene from a favorite classic novel. Referencing "Pride & Prejudice" by Jane Austen, this English countryside in the early morning, was captivating. 

When I shifted my art practice to oils, I have looked forward to painting more early morning mist and hovering fog. 

It is painted on 12x12x1.5 wrapped canvas with matte black sides and D-ring hardware for hanging.
